The Head is a Mid 66 all original, (few numbers apart from Gary Moore’s one serial 5217) obviously it has been serviced, so some resistors and some capacitors have been replaced with old ones.

The logo is a correct MG repro.

Original Drake transformers PT 1202-55, OT 784-103, Choke 352-114

It was rescued , restored and well cared here in Italy. Valved with old Mullards, Brimars and a pair Of GEC KT66s.

The cab is a Strap Handles that was restored to its Former Glory.

No holes added, original piping, MG strap handles and logo. Many hours of hard work and a very careful and expensive restoration.

Original and correct Black Levant bought from Marshall.

The icing on the cake is an Eric Collins Pinstripe grill cloth.

Loaded with a fantastic quad of 1966 G12M 20 watters!!

Retolexed and restored, early 65 Block logo , Clapton (Pekalit) knobs, RadioSpares Deluxe Output transformer and choke 20Henries, Mains is an early Drake 1202-55. Old caps and tubes GECKT66 smoked glass, Mullards and Brimars in the pre. A little hole on back panel was closed using a little plate of aluminum and a Marshall sticker. The Tone is incredible, big and rich of harmonics, less distorted and aggressive than later JTMs. Ideal for Clapton, Green, Townshend, and Hendrix Tones.

Original and very good sounding one. A classic Fender blackface tone with Its original Oxford 12K5-6 speaker. RCA tubes in the pre and output stage.

It is a mix between a jtm45 and a later jmp, tube rectified EL34 amp.. best of both worlds!!

Cabinet is a late 67 early 68 loaded with a quad of 1968 G12H T1281

One more hole in the chassis between v1 and v2, the punch is so perfect it is probably a ” factory wrong hole”

Early metal panel, October 69. its a Plexi circuit with aluminum panels. Killer amp.. At Marshall reached their zenith with early metal panel IMHO.

Put the Volume on 6 and you can hear Van Halen’s, Gibbon’s, or Beck’s tones with there right cab. Original transformer and choke. Mains is the usual Drake1202-118, the OT is a Drake 784-139 and the choke is a Dagnall 1999. The circuit is the 69 lead, split cathode. Cab is an early 1971 1960A with its G!2M T1221 signed by Jim Marshall in two points

Early.. early metal panel.. was made on 4th of July of 1969 you can see it is a Plexi.. the board is the perforated one, shared cathode bass circuit.

All original, logo included Drake transformers 1202-118 and 784-139, Dagnall 1999 choke. The cabinet is a 1969 1935 A all original, logo also. Speaker are its 1969 T1511

One of the First JMP late 67. Drake 1202-118 power transformer, 784 -139 Output transformer, 352-114 early 11xxx series.

A classick rock tone less aggressive than later jmp… my guess is the Dagnal 1999 is a more distorted choke than the earlier Drake 352-114.

These Super tremolo are really great sounding heads.. don’t know why but usually the sound very very nice.

This in particular had Dagnall C1998 OT and T2562 laydown mains… and was browner and slightly softer than super leads of the same era.
